Please pay attention on using this outline when handling the thermal-links / resistor assemblies.[1] Precaution for installation operation with thermal-links / resistor assemblies
- When use bending wire,please fix the root of lead first then bend it gradually.
- Please note do not make damage on the case, lead wire and the sealing part when bending the lead wire.
- Please do not join excessive tensions, thrust and twist on lead wire.
- If it be tested under actual operation conditions, please do not join excessive pull or press power on the lead wire and including excessive twist.
- Please do not rotate the lead wire around the main body (case).
[2] Soldering condition for the lead wire
- Please don't join excessive heat by soldering to thermal-links, and possiblility do
soldering in low temperature and short time.
If do soldering in high temperature and long time, we recommend gripping the lead wire with jig such as pincers for radiating the heat.
It needs to confirm and repeat test under actul use conditions when it is needs to preheat. - Please do not join excessive tensions, thrust during do soldering or sooner after
soldering.
If the sealant that fixed with the lead wire be damaged it may cause the defect occure. - Please leave product for 30 seconds or more after soldering.
Then do not move the main body and the lead wire during the time of cooling-down.
It can be the defect reason if joining excessive power before product cooling-down until normal temperature.
When re-soldering, please cooling-down the product until normal temperature. - The reflow soldering cannot be done.
[3] Cautions for welding and pressure operation
- If the resistor be installed by pressure and welding, please do not join any stress to the sealing part.
- About the conditions of pressure and welding, please set those certainly
conditions after confirming a contact resistacne and connected strength of
connected part.
If the connection is bad and it may cause the contact resistance rising and generated excessive heat, also possibility to cause the thermal-links function earliness.
[4] Cautions for storage
- The product used to be wrapped in packing box or polybag with temperature
-10°C ~40°C and relative humidity 30~75%.
Please keep the product in the place where no direct sunshine, the vibration, and the impact join etc, and without radically humidity temperature changing.
Moreover, when keeping in long term, sometimse it may cause soldered deterioration and various changes by the lapse of time.
Especially, avoid keeping in the place where may get wet by water, moistures, and much corrosion gases (HCl, SO2, H2S etc.) exist. - This product has been processed with silver-plated. Therefore, probably discolors
by the sulfurization etc.to cause the soldering might decrease.
Please avoiding not touch with stuffs such as the cardboards, rubber bands and which will be generated the sulfur gases.
And we also recommend promptly use as soon as after bought.
Once it is opened and still have to keep, please hold in the sealed container and avoid touching sulfur gases.

Products be packed in boxes or polybag shall keep in the place at normal temperature of -10°C~40°C,relative humidly temperature of 30~75%,and without rapidly temperature change,direct sunshine ,vibration and the impact.etc.

[1] Please do not use it as a current fuse.
The thermal-links / resistor assemblies is produced for detecting abnormal temperature rising , and to intercept the circuit. The function of cutting off current fuse by overcurrent is not provided.
[2] The ratings of temperature and electric for each product are descrided, please use within the range of each ratings.
When currenting the rating voltage or over current, it will self-generation heat that it is not the only reason for caused function earliness A big arc current might be generated when operating, and it may cause the external abnormality (crack on the main body and transformation, etc.), welding of connect point and the deterioration of the insulation. So please use it within the range of ratings. When joining excessive overload, please set the worst condition of each models and repeated test for confirming if it can be used or not.
[3] Please confirm the ambient temperature when use it, and reduce the load electric power based on the derating curve.
[4] The resistor might happened phenomenon of heating and smoking by overload.
[5] Please do not use for those related equipments like the aerospace instrument, aircraft machine, nuclear power equipment, life-support system, and engine control of transport machine.
The thermal-links / resistor assemblies and cement resistor is produced for general machinerys such as home electric product, the office automation equipment, the computer telecommunications machine, and the measurement equipment.
[6] Please do not use the resistor inside of liquid such as water and organic solvents, corrosive gas like sulfite gas and the nitrogen oxides gas, and the high humidity atmosphere.
If the material of the product is deteriorated, and might not operate normally.
[7] If put product in the violent enviroment of variations in temperature for a long time, it may caused the fusible alloy transformed or function earliness or slowly.
Please investigate the suitable use enviroment in advance.
[8] The customer should concern of the usage to decide the selection and installation method of thermal-links for a suitable judement.
For evaluate the decision is appropriate or not, we recomend set and repeat test the machine in normal usual and abnormally state for confirming. [9] Please note do not join excessive vibration or mechanical stress on the product at using.
It might cause function earliness or slowly. And also consider won't have resonance by the vibration.

There are heat influence to the printed circuit board and surrounding parts. Please confirm it enough in the state of mounting based on the use realities. If touch the vinyl coating of lead wire, the heat may case damages and possiblity generate poison gas from the vinyl coating. Moreover, it is probably occure the corrosion disconnection and the short-circuit accident due to the poison gas.
[11] Influence of exchange characteristic like high frequency circuit etc.
The resistor is a structure of rolling the resistance lead wire like the coil. According to use high frequency may occure peculiar phenomenon by the oscillation and inductance, and fully consider the difference of other circuit elements and resistor before making decision to use.
